If you have been recently considering upgrading your mobile, you’ll be delighted to note that Poco F7 is just about to launch, not just in Indian markets but also abroad. Many highs come with using this phone, the top among them being fast charging and battery capacity.

We are not sure about all details associated with the phone as of now but are sharing some industry leaks that stand to tell you a lot more. We can make some accurate assumptions about Poco 7’s price range in India besides the possible launch time.

It should be noted, though, that back in March, Poco had introduced F7 Ultra and F7 Pro models in Global markets. Poco is now expected to launch F7 variant for Indian markets.

Expected Price for Indian markets and launch date for Poco F7

Popular tipster Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd) had recently shared a post on X and as per his tweet, the launch of Poco F7 is due in Indonesia on June 24. Now, he had shared a possibility in his tweet concerning the launch of the phone in global markets on the same day. India is included in this list.

Then, as we took a look at the handset’s microsite which is also available over the internet, Poco F7’s Indian variant comes with 7,550mAh silicon carbon battery. Other top features include 22.5W reverse wired charging support and 90W wired fast charging.

At this time, we only have tipsters’ word to know any details about Poco F7. Not much information is available otherwise, but Social Media is such a wonderful thing.

What we saw tells us that the phone is black, silver, and white, an interesting and catchy colour scheme indeed, always comfortable on the eyes. With this, an elliptical rear camera module is also available. The alignment of previously leaked design is also available.

Now there is an important contradiction in details shared by both tipsters that needs to be brought to the fore. As per Mr. Ambhore’s tweet, Poco F7’s global variant won’t have a 7,550mAH cell and will instead have a 6,500mAH battery. These details, however, are only for the Indian counterpart. Mr. Ambhore also tells us that in terms of other features, the Indian and global variants are going to be more or less the same.

Top features of Poco 7

In all likelihood, a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC will power Poco F7. The handset will support UFS 4.1 onboard storage and LPDDR5X RAM. Other likely features of the Poco 7, as the tipster shares with us include Wi-Fi 7 connectivity and Android 15-based HyperOS 2. The built of the handset might could be IP68-rated water and dust-resistant and an optical fingerprint sensor will be available for biometric authentication.

Camera

If we consider the camera department, Poco F7 will likely have a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary sensor and an optical image stabilisation (OIS). Other features of the camera will be an 8-megapixel ultrawide shooter towards the back and an f/1.5 aperture alongside. Similarly, when you need to make video calls or take selfies, the handset will have 20-megapixel snapper.

Display

In Poco F7, 6.83-inch AMOLED display will be available which will have 2,772×1280 pixels resolution. Other related features include a refresh rate of 120 Hz, touch sampling rate of 480 Hz, brightness level of 3,200 nits and 3,840Hz PWM dimming rate.

When you look at the handset, you will come across glass back panel and aluminium middle frame. With a weight of 215.7g, the dimensions of the phone will be 163.1×77.9×8.2mm. It should be noted that the weight will be variable and this will be subject to battery size.

Pricing

If we consider select global markets, pricing of Poco F7 could be EUR 500, which roughly translates to Rs. 49,800. This is only for the variant with 12GB + 512 GB RAM and storage configuration.
